Sumo-momma

A few weeks ago when the kids were on Thanksgiving holiday from school I decided to jump into the shower while the rest of the family, except for Dad who was at work, was still asleep.  It's just easier that way.  I feel that I'm like a lot of women in the way that I get out of the shower, apply my moisturizer, and then proceed to walk around in my undies so long as I'm in the privacy of my own room.  Or really anywhere in the privacy of my own house so long as it's just me and Kaitlan.

On this particular day I decided I needed something from the other bathroom that is just outside of my bedroom.  I didn't think anyone was awake yet.

I should have known better.

The Boy always wakes up early when he could be sleeping in.  That is unless I want him to wake up.

Anywho, I needed something from the other bathroom so I peeked out, didn't see anyone and proceeded to run around the corner and grab what I needed.  Just as I stepped into the bathroom I see my dear little guy walking out of his room.

Me:  Hey Rai!  Good morning.  I thought you were still asleep.

*giggle, giggle*

Raiden:  Mornin.  *more giggling*

I grabbed the stuff and ducked back into my bedroom to throw some quick clothes on.  A minute later I step back out.  That's when Raiden came back out of his room and giggled a little more and asked:

Mom.  Where'd you get the sumo-wrestlers underwear?

I'm telling you, I about cracked a rib after he said that!  I've never even thought of them that way.  I'm sure you've guessed by now that he caught me in my thong.  And not the summer time sandal.

My gals have seen me in my thong undies before, but fortunately have not commented. I'm sure my time is coming!

Oh that is hilarious! I do that too (no thong here), but inevitably someone will have opened a curtain somwhere & I walk into that room. Ack!

I came over from Arizona Momma. I'll be back. Glad to meet you.
